16 Years at CAMPROSA

FS joined the annual CAMPROSA conference for the 16th year on the 6th of October in Bloemfontein.

The theme for this year was Pro-active Strategies for a Safer Learning Environment, including conversations around gang violence, xenophobic attacks, personal safety threats (GBV, bullying, substance abuse & mental health concerns), and infrastructure threats (utility disruptions & transport safety concerns). Ms Busi Mtsweni, President of the CAMPROSA Committee, focused on strategies to manage safety and security related risks, threats and breaches on campuses, by using the following method: identify, prevent, detect and enforce.

Our Head of Technology, Francois De Wit, presented solutions that can proactively protect people and assets on campuses. The technology showcased at out stand included the DJI Dock 2 - also known as drone in a box, and the Emergency Bollard - a custom built solution to ensure safer walkways.
